Document Description
This project proposes life cycle / end-of-life replacement of 152 existing transportation management system (TMS) field devices to maintain and enhance the performance and reliability of the TMS assets while minimizing operational and maintenance costs. The proposed work includes replacing the technology components in existing Caltrans cabinets and minor component attachments on existing utility poles. Additionally, Meter-On signs with W3-8 signs and flashing beacons will be replaced at 33 on-ramp locations. Ground disturbance work is not anticipated in the project.
