Reasons for Exemption
The project was analyzed for eligibility for the Class 32 exemption and was found to meet all of the criteria listed in CEQA Guidelines Section 15332. The protect is consistent with the applicable general plan designation and all applicable general plan policies as welt as with applicable zoning designation and regulations. The project is within city limits on a site that is 1.28 acres and is completely surrounded by urban uses. The project site has not value as habitat for endangered, rare, or threatened species. Approval of the project will not result in any significant effects relating to traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality. The project site can be adequately served by all required utilities and public services. Furthermore, the project was analyzed to determine if any of the exceptions for a Class 32 exemption identified in CEQA Guidelines Section 15300.2 were applicable, and it was determined that none of the exceptions apply to the project.
