Document Description
The project will rehabilitate approximately 9,362 feet of existing 27-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) gravity sewer, 777 feet of existing 30-inch RCP gravity sewer, 580 feet of existing 21-inch diameter RCP siphon sewer, and 615 feet of existing 12-inch diameter RCP siphon sewer with a cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner. It will also rehabilitate approximately twenty-seven (27) manholes with a protective coating system.

The project will be built in four (4) segments. The project is located within the Cities of Rancho Palos Verdes (RPV) and Los Angeles (San Pedro). Segment 1: Begins at MH J 0235 to J 0493, running southeast within the Trump National Golf Course (private property) and Ocean Trails Reserve (City of RPV property) with manholes located in mitigated native habitat, golf greens, or cart pathways. Segment 2: Begins at MH J 0226 to J 0222, running southeast within the Trump National Golf Course (private property) and Ocean Trail Reserve (City of RPV property) with manholes located in native habitat or cart pathways. Segment 3: Begins at MH J 0222, running southeast within the Trump National Golf Course (private property), Ocean Trails Reserve, and Shoreline Park (City of RPV property), and the Palos Verdes Shores Mobile Homes and Golf (PVSMHG) Community (private property), with manholes located in native habitat, trails, or private road. Segment 4: Begins at MH J 0216 to J 0412, running southeast from within the PVSMHG Community (private property) and along West Paseo del Mar (City of Los Angeles public ROW) and terminating at the Whites Point Pumping Plant (LACSD property). Flow bypass pumping likely will impact Palos Verdes Drive S (public ROW), Trump National Golf Course (private property), Marilyn Ryan Sunset Point Park (City of RPV, next to the entrance of Trump National Golf Course), Shoreline Park (City of RPV), PVSMHG Community (private property), and W Paseo del Mar (City of Los Angeles ROW).
