Document Description
The project consists of construction and operation of a new aboveground water storage tank (the Crown Hill Tank) and associated piping and electrical infrastructure. The purpose of the project is to improve water storage capacity and to provide proper water pressure to some higher elevation lots on the Knolls Pressure Zone. The Crown Hill Tank would be a welded steel aboveground tank approximately 74 feet in diameter and 35 feet in height, with a storage capacity of one million gallons. In addition to the tank, the project would also include installation of a 10-inch pipeline and appurtenances to connect the Crown Hill Tank to the existing Alta Vista Tanks No. 1 and 2, construction of an access roadway and retaining walls, and landscaping in the areas surrounding the project components.
