Document Description
Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit for AT&T to excavate approximately 10 square feet of bare soil in the parkway along Pacific Coast Hwy (CA-01), at postmile 10.12, East of Eubanks Ave., as well as to perform traffic control activities in the city of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles. Soil to be excavated to place a new ground bed adjacent to the existing pole (Pole # 370460M). Ground bed includes the direct burial of ground wire (#6 AWG bare copper wire) from LADWP/AT&T jointly owned pole interconnected to two new 5/8 inch diameter, 8-foot long, copper grounding rods. Rods to be pneumatically driven in the ground with a 42-inch minimum cover. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 48 inches, an average width of 12 inches, and a maximum length of 10 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
