The project is located at 3225 E Harbor Drive, the intersection of Harbor Drive and South 32nd Street, 32nd St Naval Base entrance. The site Is In the IH·2·1 Base zone, Coastal (Non-Appealable} overlay Zone within the Barrio Logan Community Plan Area.

Reasons for Exemption
The City of San Diego conducted an environmental review which determined the project would not have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment in that the project Is consistent with the community plan and the applicable zone. The project would not result in any Significant environmental Impacts. The project meets the criteria set forth In CEQA section 15305 (Minor Alterations in Land Use Limitation} which allows for minor alterations in land use limitations in areas with an average slope of less than 20 percent which do not result in any changes in land use or density, including but not limited to minor lot line adjustments, side yard, and setback variances not resulting in the creation of any new parcel. Furthermore, the exceptions listed in 15300.2 would not apply. The site is not included on any 11st compiled pursuant to Government Code Section 65962.5 for hazardous waste sites. R-316310
