Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit that Southern California Edison Company (SCE) proposes to replace one deteriorated wood pole (1104574E) and equipment within the Caltrans right-of-way, and closure on the 605 freeway Onramp at post mile (PM) R9.35. The work area is on the Southwest side of Florence Ave. between Little Lake Rd. and Studebaker Rd. in the City of Downey, County of Los Angeles. The proposed pole is to be placed in the same hole, with excavation to a maximum depth of 5 feet and an average width of 5 feet. No public utilities will
be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
