Document Description
Project consists of prescribed burning of grasslands, shrubs, and woodland areas within the boundaries of Trione-Annadel State Park in proximity to Lake Ilsanjo to reduce wildfire risk, restore the historic role of fire, improve biodiversity and support long-term stewardship of the area. The burns will be conducted according to an approved burn plan under the supervision of a State Parks and CAL FIRE approved burn boss. Shrubs and trees will be trimmed near control lines and in burn units and may be piled and burned to meet burn objectives. Existing Park roads and trails will be used as fire control lines. Fireline may be constructed as necessary and will be limited to a 4-foot maximum width.
