Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has amended Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-NAP-57553-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code, to Streamline Engineering as represented by Eric Austensen. As amended, the Project will include temporary dewatering of a 400-foot-long segment (up to 0.28 acres) of the Napa River. Cofferdams constructed of sandbags or clean gravel will be placed upstream of the work area. The water diversion system may include screened pumps, a temporary pipe network, siltation baffles, and cofferdams to route flow around the immediate work area, maintain dewatering conditions, and return flow to the downstream channel. A Dewatering and Aquatic Species Rescue Plan will be implemented to rescue aquatic species. Dewatering will result in approximately 12,000 square feet (0.28 acres) of temporary impacts to be restored to pre-project conditions following completion of work.
