Document Description
The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) proposes to implement transit and pedestrian safety improvements on Larkin Street, between Market Street and Sutter Street, as part of the Larkin Street Quick-Build Project (project). This project would remove one vehicle through travel lane on Larkin Street from Geary Street to Sutter Street, convert one of three vehicle through travel lanes to a left turn lane in two locations on Larkin Street from Golden Gate Avenue to Eddy Street and from O'Farrell Street to Geary Street, implement a painted pedestrian safety zone at the McAllister Street and Larkin Street intersection, make color curb changes including modifying yellow commercial zones, general loading zones, green short-term general metered parking, and blue zones, and extending bus stop lengths to improve transit efficiency on the corridor.
