Document Description
The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA), proposes to redesign Winston Drive between Lake Merced Boulevard and Buckingham Way to install a new two-way Class IV protected bikeway on the south side of the street. The project would also implement transit and curb management improvements, including the establishment of tow-away no stopping zones on both sides of Winston Drive, conversion of existing Muni flag stops into bus zones, construction of two new transit boarding islands, installation of a center-running double left-turn lane, and removal of 71 on-street parking spaces. The proposed project would enhance bicycle safety, and improve transit reliability.
