PLN21-0027 - The proposed project would involve reconfiguring operations on the ferrous metal portion of the Alco Iron and Metals facility and expanding those operations to a two-acre expansion area adjacent to the west of the existing facility. The primary purposes of the project are to relocate the existing large scrap metal piles farther from Doolittle Drive, allow for better onsite circulation on site, thereby reducing traffic operations on Doolittle Drive, improve fire safety and improve stormwater control and treatment.
