The work of this project will occur within existing public facilities and involve minor alterations to an existing public park with the addition of trees. This project will not need additional right-of-way to be acquired in order to carry out this project. Thus, there will be negligible or no expansion of use associated with this project. The project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review as a Class 1 existing facilities project for the operation, maintenance, or minor alteration of existing public facilities, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use pursuant to the California Code of Regulations, Title 14 Section 15301.
