Document Description
This project proposes the construction of an approx. 2,400 square feet detached addition to CPP’s AGRIscapes facility for use as an apiary facility. The facility will contain various support spaces to include an office, storage space, a honey extraction/receiving area, and production space. Site development around the facility will include a walkway, learning plaza, and a service drive. The facility will be serviced through tie-ins to existing utilities.

Class 1, item (e) as the project proposes an addition to the AGRIscapes facility, not exceeding 10,000 square feet, where public services and facilities are available to allow for maximum development permissible in the General Plan, and the area is not located in an environmentally sensitive area; Class 3, items (c, d, and e) the addition will be a small facility not involving the use of significant amounts of hazardous substances, the facility will tie into nearby utilities currently existing at the site to serve surrounding facilities and the building will also serve as an accessory structure to the nearby AGRIscapes building and university Farm Store, which sells goods produced on university grounds. Class 4 as this project involves a minor alteration to land not involving the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees.
