Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed
Lake Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number LAK-61631-R2, pursuant to Section
1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, James Herrmann. The project is
limited to replacement of an existing 75-foot-long seawall that directly adjoins a neighboring
wall to the west. The neighboring wall is also being replaced under EPIMS notification
number LAK-61435. The wall will be built with a total of 13 steel pilings (8-inch diameter),
approximately 6 feet apart, with vinyl sheet panel attached between each piling and backfilled
with a total of approximately 83 cubic yards of light drain rock. The project will be completed
with a crane, pontoon boat, and pile driver. 40 square feet of tule (Schoenoplectus acutus)
will be removed by this project; no trees are present in the impacted areas.
