Notice of Exemption
Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
Sections 15301 and 15303
Reasons for Exemption
The Redwood Park and Ride is an existing facility and the proposed pavement resurfacing and restriping, addition of wayfinding signs, and replacement of informational signs with improved ones would not increase the size or capacity of the park and ride lot. The proposed prefabricated restroom is only an accessory structure that would not change the existing land use of the facility and this structure would be less than 10,000 square feet, per CEQA Section 15301(e)(2). The site is also largely paved and highly disturbed and the proposed improvements would not affect any sensitive resources.
