Document Description
Conduct geotechnical investigations at George J. Hatfield State Recreation Area to identify soil conditions for completion of improvements and upgrades in the Day Use and Campground areas of the park to provide improved facilities for park visitors. Work will use a truck-mounted drill, equipped with hollow-stem and/or solid flight augers to complete seven (7) geotechnical borings ranging from 5 – 7.5 inches in diameter and 5 to 15-feet deep. Borings will be logged in accordance with the Unified Soil Classification System (UCSC) and back filled with excavated materials.
