Document Description
Conduct geotechnical investigations at Caswell Memorial State Park to identify soil conditions for installation of a new waterline in the Day Use and Campground areas of the park to provide a safe and consistent source of drinking water for park staff and visitors. Work will use a truck-mounted drill, equipped with hollow-stem and/or solid flight augers to complete ten (10) geotechnical borings ranging from 5 – 7.5 inches in diameter and 3 to 40-feet deep. Borings will be logged in accordance with the Unified Soil Classification System (UCSC) and back filled with excavated materials.
