This project focuses on reducing fuel loads around structures in the Hume Lake area, with the goal of enhancing and expanding defensible space to protect infrastructure in high-hazard fuel zones. Planned treatments include hand cutting, mastication, chipping piling and burning of dead and hazardous trees, brush, and small trees.
