Reasons for Exemption
The Project is consistent with the applicable general plan designation and policies as well as the applicable zoning designation and regulations. It occurs within city limits on a site less than five (5) acres in size within an urbanized area. The disturbed site within an urbanized area has no value as habitat for endangered, rare, or threatened species. Further, the Project would not result in any significant effects relating to traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality and can be adequately served by all required utilities and public services. As such, the proposed Project is not expected to have a significant effect on the environment.
