Document Description
The proposed new service yard will provide staff offices and storage for the equipment staff uses to maintain the park. The proposed service yard will replace the existing service yard. The proposed project will consist of installing a new pre-engineered metal 4,800 sf single story building. The building will include approximately 1,800 sf of office space and approximately 3,000 sf of equipment storage. The approximately 58,000 sf service yard will also contain staff and fleet vehicle parking, EV charging station, diesel fuel tank, waste receptacle bins and the service yard will be enclosed by a screened perimeter fence. The proposed service yard’s site pad and utilities were previously evaluated and constructed as part of the Atlas Road Extension Project completed in 2017, as identified in the 1998 Point Pinole Land Use Plan Amendment and Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration.
