Heavy rainfall from Tropical Storm Mario (September 2025) caused extensive damage to multiple locations along Trana Road. Flooding, debris deposition, and erosion resulted in washouts of roads and shoulders, creating hazardous conditions and restricting access. Emergency work includes, but is not limited to, removal of sediment and debris, repair and regrading of roads and shoulder, replacement or repair of damaged culverts and associated drainage structures, and reinforcement of dikes and embankments to mitigate future
storm impacts.
