Document Description
An Addendum to the City's certified General Plan Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was previously prepared and adopted in connection with the adoption of the Housing Element, which analyzed potential environmental effects of the Housing Element along with the associated rezonings and General plan and zoning amendments.
The current action involves the re-adoption of the revised Housing Element. The revisions are limited in scope and do not introduce new or more severe environmental impacts beyond those previously evaluated in the Addendum. It can be seen with certainty that the re-adoption will not result in a significant effect on the environment. Therefore, the project is exempt from further environmental review under the common sense exemption pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3).
