Document Description
Department of Water Resources will work with a Contractor to perform repairs to the California Aqueduct and Coastal Branch. Work will include repairing or replacing cracked and buckled concrete panels, filling voids and repairing erosions. Voids in and behind the Aqueduct liner will occur on the waterside of the embankment roadways. Grouting will include injecting high-pressure grout fed by a pump truck. Erosion repairs involves installing new water stops, concrete panels, and joint sealants. Spoils will be hauled offsite to a proper disposal location. Staging and access will be along existing roadways and turnouts adjacent to the Aqueducts. All work will be within DWR right-of-way.
