The Proposed Project has been evaluated in compliance with the criteria set forth in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and CEQA Guidelines. The proposed project was found to be categorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA, under CEQA Guidelines Section 15315 for Minor Land Divisions (Class 15 Exemption). The Minor Land Divisions categorical exemption is applicable to the proposed subdivision since: 1) The division is in conformance with the General Plan and Zoning; 2) No Variance or exemptions are required; 3) All services and access to the proposed parcels to local standards are available; 4) The parcel was not involved in a division of a larger parcel within the previous 2 years; and 5) The parcel does not have an average slope greater than 20 percent.
