The Macadamia Dr access roads were damaged as a result of storm events for the Governor of California proclaimed a State of Emergency in March 2023 for areas impacted by storm events including San Mateo County. The Town of Hillsborough is located in San Mateo County is carrying out the project in direct response to the damage caused by the 2023 storm events.
