The purpose of the Project is to remediate unauthorized grading and trenching activities as described in CDFW’s Notice of Violation (NOV) letter dated March 4, 2025 (1600-2025-0002-R5). Remedial activities will include compacting and recontouring soil within the bed, bank, and channel of the stream to restore it to pre-disturbed conditions. In addition, the Project will complete an Arizona crossing over the stream to allow access from the residence on site to the open space to the west, which began as an unauthorized activity described in the above-referenced NOV.
Equipment anticipated to be used includes a small track loader. Staging will occur within the Project area, outside of the bed, bank, and channel of the stream.
