San Luis Obispo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District proposes a temporary transfer of up to 7,000 acre-feet of surplus 2025 State Water Project (SWP) water supplies to the Westside Districts. The Westside Districts include (1) Dudley Ridge Water District (DRWD) (an SWP contractor), plus four member agencies of another SWP contractor, the Kern County Water Agency (KCWA) - (2) Berrenda Mesa Water District (Berrenda Mesa), (3) Belridge Water Storage District (Belridge), (4) Lost Hills Water District (Lost Hills), and (5) Wheeler Ridge-Maricopa Water Storage
District (Wheeler Ridge).
