The proposed project is categorically exempt from environmental review in accordance with Section 15031 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines and Placer County Code Sections 18.36.030 (Class 1 – Existing facilities) because the proposed use is the permitting of an existing facility and the proposal to store snow equipment in an existing garage would not be an expansion of the use. The Zoning Administrator will be required to make a finding to this effect.
