Document Description
This project proposes to upgrade highway curve warning signs on State Routes (SR) 3, 96, and Interstate 5 (I-5) within the boundaries of District 2 to California Manual on
Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD) 2014 compliant signs. Work includes
supplementing existing curve sign packages, placing new curve warning signs, and
relocating or removing existing non-compliant curve warning signs where necessary
and replacing sign panels on existing posts or structures. Additionally, existing curve
warning signs that do not meet current federal reflectivity standards will be replaced,
and single-post curve warning signs with wood posts will be upgraded to metal posts.
