The Kings County Association of Governments has prepared a Regional Active Transportation Plan to provide a comprehensive, countywide framework to expand and improve active transportation infrastructure and programming. The ATP is designed to support the development of safe, accessible and connected networks for walking and bicycling, encompassing both recreational trails and Safe Routes to School initiatives, within urban centers and rural regions located between cities and designated community areas within Kings County.
