Document Description
San Joaquin field division plans to remove sediment and debris from the concrete apron of four culvert outlets along pool 31 of the State Water Project. All sediment and debris removal will be completed by hand with the use of hand tools. Sediment will be shoveled into buckets and then dumped into a crane or excavator bucket that is parked on the road. Once the bucket is full, the sediment and debris will be dumped into a dump truck. Once the dump truck is full, the sediment and debris will be dumped at the Buena Vista pumping plant spoil site. All work will be completed within the DWR right-of-way. Work is estimated to take 3 to 4 workdays. This work is necessary to inspect and maintain the culverts.
