Document Description
The project proposes to add new shoulder rumble strip for class II bike lane, grind existing AC surface to eliminate lip, and install vehicle speed feedback sign in the city of Newport Beach, on State Route 1 at Balboa Boulevard. The purpose of the project is to enhance safety to address run off the road and speed related collisions. No staging or storage areas have been identified. All work will occur within State Right-of-Way. Project work will occur at night-time. No vegetation removal will occur in the designated habitat area. No night work will occur during the breeding season. Project will need state funding only. The Disturbed Soil Area (DSA) for the project is anticipated to be less than 1.0 acre.
