Document Description
The County of SLO proposes the of installation of new isolation valve and valve box along the existing Nacimiento Water Project (NWP) system main pipeline on the north side of the Santa Ysabel Pump Station (SYPS). All ground disturbances associated with the project will occur along the original pipeline alignment. This project aims to sati sfy concerns raised regarding the limited number of isolation valves on the main transmission line. The project's goal is to help provide participants of the NWP with reliable, efficient and high-quality water service, and to help reduce overall water loss. The proposed project will improve operations & maintenance, public health & safety, and supply reliability of the NWP. while reducing environmental impacts and penalties associated with unplanned discharges into waters of the US. During review of the project. no exceptions as described in Section 15300.2 of the CEOA Guidelines were determined to be applicable.
