Document Description
The District proposes to rebuild the nutrition and maintenance building that burned down during the 2018 Camp Fire (proposed project) on the same site. The proposed nutrition and maintenance building will serve the same purpose as the previous building. The proposed project would include construction of a 5,454-square-foot metal building with a 976-square-foot overhang; mechanical, electrical, plumbing and site improvements; a concrete walkway and new asphalt paving; nine new parking spaces with ADA upgrades, including eight standard stalls and one van stall; and two bicycle parking spaces. The building will serve as storage, office space, utility equipment rooms, and training space. Pluming improvements include connecting the proposed building wastewater to existing tank and install a new pump to the existing tank. A pump control panel would be installed on the west side of the building. The proposed project will not increase the district’s student population. Construction of the proposed project will occur over approximately 9 months beginning in October 2025, and is anticipated to be completed in June 2026. All construction equipment and workers will be located within the boundaries of the project site and contractors will adhere to construction noise regulations to avoid disruption to campus operations.
