Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project would not cause any significant impacts to the environment. Section 15031 applies to this project because it involves use of an existing storage space in a building which was formerly used as a storage space for the same materials, the business and all materials/supplies were sold to the new tenant. In accordance with Section 15300.2, which stipulates the exceptions to CEQA categorical exemptions, the proposed project would not result in a significant cumulative impact, significant effect on the environment, or impact scenic highways, hazardous waste sites, or historical resources. Accordingly, the proposed project is exempt from the requirements of CEQA.
