Document Description
The project entails granting a right of entry permit to the City of Ventura for temporary access to State Park property in order to stage equipment and make emergency repairs to a sewer force main within a vault located at the southwest terminus of the Sanjon Road and E. Harbor Boluvard intersection. This urgent repair work will replace the deteriorating force main to prevent the failure and spill of raw sewage at the beach. Excavation (max depth 15’) is required to expose the force main on either side of the vault. A traffic control plan will ensure public safety during construction.
All work will adhere to Departmental policies and standard best management practices to minimize impacts to sensitive resources. The project has been permitted by the California Coastal Commission (Emergency Permit No. G-4-25-0027) and a Regional Water Quality Control Board (NPDES Permit No. CAG994004) permit is pending.
