Document Description
Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit that Southern California Edison (SCE) is proposing to replace an existing distribution pole and an existing anchor along State Route 1 (SR-1), Pacific Coast Hwy, in the City of Malibu, County of Los Angeles. The existing 50-foot Class 4 wood pole (1269290E) will be replaced with a new 50-foot Class 1 wood pole in its existing location on the roadside along southbound (SB) SR-1 at postmile (PM) 56.31, as well as temporary traffic control activities. The existing 10-foot lead guy-anchor will be replaced with a new guy-anchor within the State right-of-way. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 84 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
