Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to remove and replace the damaged overhead sign structure at Postmile (PM) R12.08 on State Route (SR) 99 in Merced County. The scope of work includes replacement of the cantilever arm truss, grout base, retro-reflective sign panel, and sign pole. The purpose of the project is to address the structural damage of the overhead sign structure and restore operational safety. The need of this project is to prevent and mitigate the loss or impairment of life, property, or essential public services.
