Reasons for Exemption
The project is statutorily exempt from additional environmental review as it is
consistent with the previously certified Irvine 2045 General Plan Program
EIR (State Clearinghouse No. 2023070463). The project proposes 426-
residential units within an area of the City anticipated and previously
analyzed to accommodate up to 15,000 dwelling units. Effects of the project
were examined in the General Plan Program EIR, and all feasible mitigation
measures and alternatives developed in the General Plan Program EIR are
incorporated into this project.
