Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. 1600-2018-0590-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mackenzie O’Donnell. The project is limited to three encroachments (Table 1). One encroachment is for water diversion from the on-stream reservoir (Holland Lake) located on unnamed tributaries to Cahto Creek. Work for the water diversion may include modification as necessary to comply with the measures in this Agreement. Work for the water diversion will also include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure including the existing onstream dam. The two other proposed encroachments are to upgrade failing and undersized stream crossings located on the POU parcel. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the failing crossings, replacement with new properly sized crossings, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
