Document Description
Department of Water Resources (DWR) Project Geology and Contractor will drill two borings south of Clifton Court Forebay for geologic analysis of the West Tracy Fault. The borings will be about 6-8 inches in diameter and up to 400 feet deep. Soil samples will be taken for laboratory analysis. Remaining soil spoils will be placed in steel drums for off-site disposal. Once depth is reached, the hole will be backfilled with appropriate grout mixture and covered with topsoil. All equipment and work are within the DWR right of way.
