Under Health and Safety Code 121349, the California Department of Public Health authorized Northern Valley Harm Reduction Coalition to provide syringe services in order to address the public health need of reducing the spread of HIV infection, viral hepatitis and other potentially deadly bloodborne infections. Services will be provided at a fixed location at 171 E. 18th Street and to residential addresses in Chico upon request by program participants.
