Document Description
San Joaquin Field Division plans to remove sediment and debris from three sumps to allow storage of water. To complete this work, a grader, loader, bulldozer, backhoe, and dump truck would be used to remove and move sediment. A water truck will be used to control dust and aid in compaction. Dirt excavated from inside the sump would be placed on the sump roads and compacted. All damaged culverts would be replaced. All staging will take place at the Badger Hill Pumping Plant. All work will take place within the DWR right-of-way. This work is necessary to maintain the sumps and to bring them back to their original condition.
