The MCWD proposes to replace old, failing water meters currently located on private property by installing new meters in the County public right-of-way (ROW). The old meters will be removed and replaced with water meter spacer tubes to keep the water
service lines active. New meter boxes and meters will be installed in the ROW for easier access, and the old meter boxes will be removed.
