Document Description
The Agency owns parcels adjacent to Lake Theodore in the Clipper Gap area. This property has been identified as a site that is in need of vegetation management in order to reduce the risk of wildfire. Activities related to the management of vegetation are for the purposes of fuel reduction, these include prescribed herb ivory and herbicide use, mastication and prescribed burning, vegetation thinning, hazard tree removal, site preparation that involves disturbance of soil, or cutting or removal of trees and vegetation, including access, skid trails, or beds for the falling of trees. These vegetation management activities do not include work within riparian or aquatic sites. Access to the project would occur within existing public roadways and right of ways.
