Document Description
Project proposes revisions to the existing landscaped area in front of the Visitors Center at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park to improve functionality, accessibility, and overall visitor experience.
Work includes:
•Remove an existing non-native lawn and replace with native, drought tolerant plants;
•Remove a concrete retaining edge along east side of lawn;
•Install a 5-foot-wide stabilized aggregate pathway to connect to accessible entrance;
•Use pavers and decomposed granite to construct two (2) small patios to expand seating areas;
•Install a metal privacy fence to separate the existing maintenance work area from the garden; and
•Install a new bike rack.
