Document Description
This maintenance project proposes to replace existing thermoplastic pavement markings in Crescent City from Humboldt Road to Washington Boulevard Overcrossing. Pavement markings include words, limit lines, crosswalks, and arrows. Existing basic style crosswalks will be upgraded to high visibility ladder style crosswalks. The purpose of this project is to replace pavement markings through the project limits. Pavement markings are needed to guide traffic and improve road safety for all users. The existing thermoplastic pavement markings were installed in the summer of 2021, and they have reached the end of their design life, which is typically 3 to 5 years.
