Document Description
Department of Water Resources, in collaboration with College of the Sequoias, will install a California Irrigation Management Information System (CIMIS) automated weather station in an existing field within the college campus. Data will be publicly available and benefit the State and the public by providing high-quality reference evapotranspiration data to aid in the efficient use of the region’s water resources. Equipment is situated on a tripod to gather weather and irrigation data. Fencing is installed around the perimeter to secure the station. Minor ground disturbance would occur as a result of the installation process.
