Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit for Charter Communications to dig a 5-foot trench to place PVC conduit, remove and replace the full flag of concrete (score line to score line), tie into (1) existing CATV vault, place (1) PVC conduit (stub out), install 1,220-foot aerial cable on (7) existing poles, install 3-foot cable through existing underground conduit, and to perform associated temporary traffic control activities. The project location is within Caltrans' right-of-way along Route 213, at postmile (PM) 8.48, in the city of Torrance, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 48 inches, an average width of 12 inches, and a maximum length of 5 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
